Xiaohan Shen is a photographer, designer, blogger and dreamer. Raised in the longtangs of Shanghai, educated on the shores of Sydney, Xiaohan embeds a unique blend of east and west. This blend of cultures shaped her philosophy, outlook and style.
Born into a family of painters, writers and calligraphers, Xiaohan was bound to work in the creative field. At the age of 25, she is already into her second career, photography. Xiaohan studied graphic design and has worked as an art director at multiple international advertising agencies for over 5 years, all the while experimenting with photography on the side. After taking a year off to travel the world, Xiaohan realised her passion lies with photography.
A trained designer’s eye and a sensitive feminine perspective makes Xiaohan’s photography style special and highly sought after. Xiaohan also runs one of Australia’s top street fashion blogs, xssat street fashion , where she regularly photographs and interviews trendsetters from around the world.
